MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – At least two people were killed and five others wounded after heavy fighting between two factions within government forces erupted in the central Somalia town of Baladweyne following days of simmering tensions, Caasimada Online news website reported on Thursday.
The gun battle erupted at Lama Galay military base in the town, which is home to regional administration headquarters and other key offices.
