MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on Monday officially launched the Centennial Vision 2060, a long-term national development plan aimed at transforming the country into a peaceful, inclusive, and economically competitive state by 2060.
Speaking at the launch event in Mogadishu, President Mohamud emphasized that Somalia intends to compete with its East African neighbors not through military power, but by focusing on economic growth and development.
“H.E. President @HassanSMohamud presided over the official launch of the Centennial Vision 2060 (CV2060) in Mogadishu,” his office said.
