MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on Thursday met Chinese ambassador Fei Shengchao as Mogadishu seeks the solidarity of its international partners against Ethiopia’s move to lease a 20-km land along the Red Sea from Somaliland.
The Chinese ambassador “conveyed China’s support for Somalia’s sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity,” Villa Somalia tweeted.
The President expressed his appreciation for China’s support & emphasized the importance of adhering to international law.”
