MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s Presidet Hassan Sheikh Mohamud said on Monday his government is ready to restart talks with authorities in the northern separatist region of Somaliland following years of hiatus.
In a meeting with Turkish and Norweigian diplomats, the Somali leader said he was determined to resume talks between the federal government and Somaliland, whose leaders continue to pursue an international recognition.
